VISITOR CENTER

Stewart County proudly opened its Visitor Center, located at 117 Visitor Center Lane, Dover, TN 37058, in October 2010. It has been a beautiful addition to the county and serves the community on multiple facets. The Center includes a visitor information desk, where our helpful volunteers can assist you with information on the county. Take a tour through the Gallery, where you can observe the history and culture of Stewart County. Relax by the fireplace with friends or access our free wireless service with your portable device.

The Stewart County Visitor Center also features the Cumberland Room, which can be used for weddings, receptions, meetings and other approved uses. This is a large banquet-style room (approximately 3,825 square feet) that seats up to 275 people. The room includes an audio sound system with wireless remote microphone abilities. There is a LCD high-definition projector with a 110-inch electronic drop-down screen. A large kitchen is available, to include a dishwasher, oven, stove cook top, refrigerator, microwave and coffee makers. The kitchen also has a window opening into the main room that may be left open or closed.  There is also an outside walk-out patio area, beneath a wooden pergola, located on the far end of the room.
